Description
When I look at this old red barn that I painted, feelings of nostalgia come over me. I am reminded of how much fun it might be for a child to wander into a dilapidated old barn and discover a hayloft and ladder, and perhaps a bale of hay along with a few chickens. This would be a perfect place to explore and discover what old farm treasures might be hidden away in some remote corner. The broken windows and missing door would be an open invitation for certain wild birds to find a place in the rafters to build their nests.♥

Hazel I honestly think I could spend the rest of the afternoon going through your beautiful portfolio and just visiting in each scene. That might sound like an odd way of expressing myself, but in really great art, there's not just a viewing that takes place ... it's an immersion. That's what your art gives us!!!!
