Description
The idea for this watercolor painting was based on a dream God gave me a number of years ago. In the dream my son and I were outside looking up at the night sky. All of a sudden a huge cross of light appeared in the heavens. I quickly realized that my son couldn't see it, but before I could say anything the cross of light became a large wooden cross with what appeared to be a seal in the center of it. The words that escaped from my son's lips caused me to be filled with the joy of the Lord as I heard him exclaim, "Now I see!"
My prayer is that each one of us will come to "see" and accept the incredible gift of God's grace that has been given to us in Jesus Christ. We have been forgiven, not day by day, not little by little, but once... and for all when Jesus Christ became the sacrifice for our sins (Hebrews 7:27).
May the "the True Light that gives light to every man coming into the world" (John 1:9) reveal to you that although our world is but a speck in a universe of billions of galaxies, you and I are, and forever will be... His first love!♥
