This is another version of an original oil painting I did many years ago in shades of green and gold, and then I textured it digitally. I wanted to create a feeling of nostalgia from the past... a retreat away from the cares of my busy world... a place of escape into the natural beauties of a forgotten time... a place of solitude away from the cares of life... a place where I could enjoy the early morning melancholy feelings that sometimes envelop a cloudy day.♥
