Description
I used no brush in the creation of this impressionistic watercolor of a coral reef. Instead I dropped globs of different colored paint in different areas on the wet paper, spraying it with water as needed and then sprinkling it with salt... while I tilted the paper various ways to create this design. I did this in several different layers, waiting for the paint and salt to dry between the layers. Using the salt repeatedly gave it this nice rich texture.♥

Love the colors used in this, Hazel! Interesting method used to create this;wouldn't have thought to use salt in a painting! Nicely done! L/F
