Description
This is an abstract watercolor painting that kind of evolved as I got inspired by the Holy Spirit to digitally enhance and alter it through a series of filters on Photoshop. I wanted to give the hearts more texture in order to portray the truth that our hearts as believers can sometimes become cold and hard like stone if we allow offenses like bitterness and unforgiveness to take root in them.
At times we will be mistreated. We will be wronged. We will be misunderstood. But we must choose to forgive anyway and let the offenses go. Let's not give a place in our hearts to any form of bitterness because offense will take us prisoners and our hearts will become cold as stone. Don’t let the love of God in you grow cold.♥

What a glorious image and beautiful reminder about forgiveness - in a well-chosen font! I can hardly believe that it began as a watercolor.
