Description
Just lately I have gotten inspired to paint impressionistic watercolors of the beautiful fall leaves that are beginning to turn a myriad shades or gorgeous! I am so thankful to God that He chose to bring so much beauty into this season of the year.
In order to achieve the beautiful effect you see in this painting, it was first painted in layers and washes of various colors... allowing the paint to thoroughly dry between each layer so that the background colors would shine through the darker leaf patterns.♥

LF Hazel, I really like the monotone color in this painting of the fall leaves. The composition with the darks to the left and toward the bottom is appealing to my eyes.
