Description
This is a photograph that was taken of me when I was two years of age by my dear grandmother. She had just washed my hair, fluffed up my curls, and put a little dress on me that she had smocked herself.
I want to embrace and hold this dear little girl because the sweet smile I see on her beautiful little face I do not remember feeling back then when I was two. The fleeting memories of being abandoned by my mother for the first three years of my life have drowned out the joy my little heart must have felt back then as my loving grandmother took care of me as her own child.♥

Hazel, as a grandmother taking care of a special needs grandchild, I feel the pain and emotion associated with this beautiful photo of a you, one of God's precious children! Very inspirational to me seeing the results of your heart through your artwork and descriptions! LF

What a sweetie then and still are Hazel......and how blessed you were to have your loving grandmother there for you when you needed her. Can relate to your story because of my own humble beginnings. Meanwhile just read your biography on your FAA art site and found it a really inspiring and worthwhile read! f/l
