Description
I used colored chalk to create the background of this impressionistic artwork for a church Easter program back in 1984. The original piece of artwork was about 12 feet wide and 8 feet high. Four years ago around Easter I used soft pastels to add these children to the foreground of this smaller version of the larger painting.
Can you identify with these children waving palm branches and singing praises? Remember what Jesus said to His disciples? If you don't let the children praise Me, the stones will begin to cry out! Then in Revelation 7:9 we are given a beautiful picture of God's children throughout the ages holding palm branches as they praise their King in His Kingdom for all eternity.♥
