Description
This watercolor was inspired by the magnificent changing colors of the lovely Fall season. First, I painted the background and let the colors bleed into one another as I sprinkled salt on them. After the background was thoroughly dry, I painted the backs of different sizes of grape leaves that I collected from my garden, and then pressed them into the watercolor paper to create interesting leaf patterns. Finally, I used ink to highlight the finishing touches to the leaves of this beautiful watercolor. ♥
