Here's is a photograph of my two loving dogs before they went to doggy heaven. They were the best of friends...real pals! Simba, the Australian shepherd, came down with diabetes the last few years of her life and went blind. Lucy knew Simba couldn't see so she was always at her side coaxing her, playing and wrestling with her, and looking out for her daily welfare.
Both dogs were rescued by me as puppies and left their paw prints on my heart... Lucy from the street, and Simba from someone who couldn't keep her. They both lived long and fun-filled lives! Although I still miss these loving dogs of mine, I believe that one day I will be greeted by them again in heaven! That's the kind of loving God that I truly know Him to be.♥

About Hazel Holland
I grew up in the United Kingdom, and immigrated to the USA when I was 19. After attending several different colleges over a number of years, I finally received my BA degree and began teaching children with special needs. However before I got my teaching degree I was a substitute teacher, and got hired to teach art classes in an elementary school in Southern California. The goal of this pilot program was to determine what kind of impact creative expression might have on the academic lives of elementary school students. For six months I taught children how to enhance their drawing and painting skills by providing a nurturing, fun, and supportive environment. My goal was to empower these children through their creativity, and in turn...
