Description
This is an English landscape that my grandmother painted many years ago. Back then the watercolor technique that was used made it look very much like an oil in some ways. Although the original colors had faded and become washed out, I was able to digitally enhance them and bring this beautiful painting back to life.
As a child I remember it hanging on the wall in my grandmother's living room. I use to love to look at the rolling hills of heather and the grazing sheep... wishing I could roam the hills with them and pick the sweet smelling heather in this tranquil setting.
Since I spent a lot of time living with my dear grandmother when I was a child, I'd like to pay her tribute for the love and care she gave me throughout my childhood...♥
