This is a beautiful oil pastel painting where I have added Scripture verse to the original oil pastel painting, Resurrection Power.. Although the colors do not blend quite as well as the soft pastels that I am use to using, they are a lot cleaner to work with and give a sharper and more dramatic pop of color!
Since Easter will be here before we know it I wanted to start painting some pictures that will draw attention to the One who is the Resurrection and the Life! Have a blessed Easter.♥

I grew up in the United Kingdom, and immigrated to the USA when I was 19. After attending several different colleges over a number of years, I finally received my BA degree and began teaching children with special needs. However before I got my teaching degree I was a substitute teacher, and got hired to teach art classes in an elementary school in Southern California. The goal of this pilot program was to determine what kind of impact creative expression might have on the academic lives of elementary school students.
