Description
In order to achieve the beautiful effect you see in this painting, it was first painted in layers and washes of various colors... allowing the paint to thoroughly dry between each layer so that the background colors would shine through the darker leaf patterns. Then I sprinkled salt on the wet paint and let it dry. Finally I used a paperclip as a scratching tool to get the desired patterns and texture on the leaves.♥
