Description
I have gotten inspired again to paint beautiful fall leaves in the middle of winter as I remember the myriad shades of gorgeous leaves that brighten our days before the winter cold sets in... I am so thankful to God that He chose to bring so much beauty into the fall season of the year.
In order to achieve the beautiful effect you see in this painting, it was first painted in washes of various colors and then allowing the paint to thoroughly dry between each layer so that the background colors would shine through the darker leaf patterns. A little salt was also applied to give the painting extra texture.♥
