Description
I painted this impressionistic watercolor using water soluble wax pastels and watercolor pencils. They remind me of the beautiful flowers I use to pick each spring from my English garden in California.
Of course spring comes much later here in Idaho than California. But this morning when I went out to feed the birds, I noticed that little flower bulbs that I had planted a year ago were pushing their green shoots up through the soil and the recently thawed snow... right along with the irises.
I'm hopeful that spring will arrive earlier... especially if the snow doesn't return. But for now I'll settle for spring in a vase.♥
